Commander Meiz Majdoub joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1998 and graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 2002 with a Bachelors of Computer Engineering. After completing his initial training in Halifax, he served in various engineering ashore establishments and operational ships until
He subsequently gained experience in complex procurement and program management while serving with the Maritime Equipment Program Management (MEPM) Division as well as future forces development in the Directorate of Naval Strategy at NDHQ.

A graduate from the Canadian Forces College Joint Command and Staff Programme, Commander Majdoub holds several postgraduate degrees including a Master’s of Science in Guided Weapon Systems from Cranfield University, a Master’s of Defence Studies from Royal Military College and a Masters Certificate of Project Management from the University of Victoria. Commander Majdoub is currently Commanding Officer of the Naval Training Development Center (Pacific). The unit is charged with
curriculum development and performance standards for all officer and technical trades in the Royal Canadian Navy.
