Beryl is the Manager, Regulatory Research and International Mobility at Engineers Canada, the national organization of the 12 engineering regulators that license Canada's more than 300,000 members of the engineering profession.

She leads research initiatives and monitors trends in the engineering environment to support engineering regulators’ decision-making and strengthen national engineering practices on matters related to regulation, qualifications, practice, and the state of the profession. Her research also focuses on emerging, contemporary, and overlapping engineering disciplines.

In the international mobility portfolio, she develops and maintains agreements that facilitate and promote mobility of engineers, collaborates with international counterparts, and represents Engineers Canada in international activities.

Beryl has more than 10 years of experience in professional regulation and program management. Previously, she worked with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and in various regulatory roles with the Ontario Public Service. She holds a Master of Arts in anthropology from the University of Toronto and an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa.
